STEM Smart: Lessons Learned from Successful Schools

This meeting highlighted issues in the NRC report, Successful K-12 STEM Education, with a special focus on partnerships to promote K-12 STEM learning and teaching. It included breakout sessions on projects, resources, and initiatives that align with the report’s evidence base on effective instruction, access to high quality STEM for all students, and building supportive infrastructure. Presenters were drawn from local/regional partnerships and well-recognized STEM Schools, in addition to NSF-supported programs. Networking opportunities were available for participants.
